These Best Selling battery powered UltraPIR PIR Alarms will contact up to three Key-Holders by Telephone (with your own personal pre-recorded message) followed by a Text Message in the event of being activated.

This Alarm was shown on the BBC ONE TV Program 'Break-in Britain' during September 2015 as an example of a new breed of Security Alarms. 

The PIR is powered by 3 x standard AA Batteries although a mains powered option is available for customers who have access to a power supply.

The unique Battery Powered UltraPIR Alarms are ideal for helping to protect your Caravan whilst it is on your drive, in storage or when when you are on holiday, it is just as popular with customers fitting them into their Static Caravans or Boats. They can be used singularly or in a wireless network with any of the following products:

• Standard PIR's (part number 007-0200).
• Magnetic Contact (part number 007-0260).
• Internal Wireless Siren (part number 007-0230).
• External Solar or Battery Siren (part number 007-0221).
• Battery GSM UltraPIR Alarms (part number 007-0360).
• Mains Powered UltraPIR Alarms (part number 007-0700).
• Ceiling PIR's (part number 007-0270).

You only need to have one UltraPIR operating with a SIM Card when using a wireless network, if other PIR's or Door Contacts are activated within range of the PIR with a SIM card installed, it will start to call the key-holders. This allows you to fit more than one sensor in large buildings or an additional sensor in a storage shed nearby.

The UltraPIR have a built in 130 Decibel Sirens which can be operated in silent mode, whilst it is in silent mode the PIR will still trigger any other Siren within the Wireless Network resulting in plenty of noise for the Intruder, without drawing attention to the PIR which is actually calling the key-holders.

We also offer some two room systems that includes two sensors, both with built in Sirens although you have the option to silence the UltraPIR to let it silently call key-holders, the options include the standard two room system 007-1130, or with an extra Internal Wireless Siren 007-1140, or the system which includes a Ceiling PIR 007-1120.

The system is Armed & Disarmed using Remote Control from up to 50 metres away.

These Alarms have been used inside Caravans for a long time now, but we are seeing many more being used inside Boats recently, especially on inland waters with Narrow Boats & Motor Cruisers. 

We would normally recommend using the UltraPIR in silent mode (although this is personal preference) but have one or two additional Sirens being active, this can be with a second or third PIR or Ceiling PIR or with an additional Siren. There is also the External Solar Siren which fits well onto a Narrow Boat or Static Caravan.

The Alarm is supplied with quality Duracell AA Batteries which operate fine in most conditions, but it may be worth considering using Lithium Batteries inside Caravans & Boats during winter, this is because an Alkaline battery is designed to operate in temperatures down to around zero degrees, a Lithium is built to operate down to around minus 20 degrees.

An UltraPIR can also be used to Alarm a storage shed next to your mooring for use when the Boat is there or not.

Why would you choose a 3G UltraPIR over the standard 2G UltraPIR?

The standard UltraPIR (which operates on the older 2G networks) works perfectly well in most of the UK & Europe, and may do so for many years to come.

But it is no secret that the mobile phone network suppliers are concentrating on increasing there 3 & 4G coverage, as this is what is required for using data (internet usage on smart phones & tablets) which also generates the most income. It is strongly suspected that this concentration on 3 & 4G expansion by most providers can at times be to the detriment of a current 2G network, it may be that a mast supplying 2G has a problem and that fault would not take priority resulting in a temporary (or permanent) loss of the 2G network in locations being covered by the mask.

The 3G UltraPIR is also compatible with 2G, therefore there is less risk of the Alarm not being able to contact key-holders in the future due to a network issue, the extra investment is really future proofing your purchase.

SIM Cards:

We offer a Roaming SIM Card which can be very beneficial when being used with a Mobile Caravan or Boat, this is because they will automatically switch mobile phone networks to find the strongest signal in each location, so provided you have a signal of some type you should have a working GSM Alarm.
