Arming & Disarming: 

The system is Armed & Disarmed by using the Remote Control (supplied) from up to 100 metres away, additional Remote Controls can be added.

PROGRAMMING

The UltraPIR 4G boasts a user-friendly setup, thanks to its ergonomic rear-mounted keypad, which is thoughtfully shielded by a screw-secured cover. The keypad allows for the input of up to three contact numbers to be alerted in case the device is triggered, and for customizing settings like siren deactivation. To further aid in its usability, the device comes with an in-depth English language manual, simplifying the operational process. This extensive guide ensures a seamless user experience, facilitating a swift and effective setup of the UltraPIR 4G.

Communication:

The 4G Alarm communicates via mobile phone networks using a standard sized SIM card (not provided) and will contact up to three key-holders by Telephone (with your own pre-recorded message) & Text Message when activated (phone calls or text can be turned off). When selecting an operator, choose one that offers the best network coverage in the area where the device will be installed. There's no need for an expensive plan; or tariff.

We do offer two Roaming SIM Cards from a third party supplier (at cost) designed for use in Alarms & Tracker Systems, these are low level contract sim cards (working on a direct debit), these can be selected within the drop down options near the Add to Card Button.

POWERFUL INTEGRATED SIREN

When the detector is triggered, it's built-in siren will sound for 60 seconds and reach 130 decibels. Once it stops, the system remains armed. If new movement is detected, the alarm will sound again. If necessary, this can be silenced for customers wanting a silent alarm (a simple process on the keypad). If silenced the Alarm will still activate any other PIR's or Sirens which have been paired into the same wireless network, this gives you the benefit of activating as many Sirens as you wish without drawing attention to the location of the UltraPIR.

EXCEPTIONAL BATTERY PERFORMANCE

The UltraPIR 4G distinguishes itself in the market with its self-sufficient operational capability. This infrared motion detector is powered by 3 AA batteries (provided), boasting a remarkable battery life of up to 12 - 18 months with continuous usage. This ensures dependable performance, offering users consistent, long-term surveillance without the need for frequent battery changes.

5V POWER OPTION

The UltraPIR 4G can be powered by an optional 5V transformer (007-0702). This is a great choice if you prefer not to worry about battery life. However, in the event of a power outage (whether accidental or deliberate), the batteries can act as a "backup battery", maintaining the device's efficiency under all circumstances!

DETECTION:

The Alarm system has a 30 second exit delay (plenty of time to leave the building and lock up) and a 5 second entry delay (normally disarmed from outside the building before entering). The UltraPIR 4G is designed to detect heat movements emitted by a person or a vehicle. Detection is based on a specialized lens, which enables it to cover a range of up to 10 meters at a 120° horizontal angle.

It is important to note that the UltraPIR 4G cannot detect heat emissions through obstacles (including glass).

LOW BATTERY"

The UltraPIR 4G addresses the critical concern of power source reliability in its self-sufficient design. It incorporates an effective low battery alert system. When the batteries are low, a light indicator on the device remains illuminated as a visual cue. Furthermore, for added vigilance, the UltraPIR 4G sends out an SMS alert to all registered contacts, informing them of the low battery status. This dual-notification system ensures that the device operates continuously and securely, reducing the likelihood of unexpected operational pauses.
