Battery Siren Wireless Alarm (smart) & 1 x External PIR

Battery Powered External Wireless PIR Alarm System, supplied with a single Outdoor Wireless PIR, ideal for helping to protect many types of applications including: 

• Garages & Workshops.
• Farm Buildings & Yards.

The Siren doubles up as the Control Panel and is Armed & Disarmed using the Remote Control (supplied) from up to 50 metres away, No Power is needed for either the Siren or PIR (although you can choose to use a plug in transformer with the siren for locations with easy access to a power supply).

PIR:

The Wireless PIR can be mounted up to 150 metres away from the Siren and are powered by a standard PP3 battery, it has a unique rubber cover that makes the detection pattern far more narrow (helping to prevent false alarms from small ground animals) although the aperture can be made bigger should you need a wider detection area.

You can add many additional accessories to this system to suit different applications including: 

• Additional External PIR's.
• Internal PIR's.
• External or Internal Gate & Door Contacts.
• Remote Controls or Keypads.
• Dummy Sirens.
• Vibration, Pressure Mats & Water Sensors.

Mounting the PIR Sensor:

There are two methods of mounting these External PIR's for outdoor operation:

1. Approximately 1 to 1.5 metres from the ground, with the hood left with the standard size access hole and the PIR aimed horizontally across the ground (this will avoid detection from Cats & Foxes).
2. 3 - 5 metres from the ground, pointing down towards the ground (angle can be adjusted to suit the application), the front access hole in the rubber hood would normally be opened up to give a wider detection angle.

There is no limit to how many additional PIR's can be added to our range of Wireless Smart Alarms.

Siren:

The Siren is powered by four standard 'D' type batteries (which will last for approximately 2 years in most applications) although there is an optional plug in transformer for locations with easy access to a power supply.

When activated it has twin Sirens supplying 120 Decibel & bright Flashing Strobe Lights, the duration of these can be adjusted between 1 - 10 minutes during installation.

The Siren has other features including:

• Tamper Protection.
• Service Mode (allows customers to silence alarm for any service operations, remote control required).
• Easy to follow installation instructions.

Also available is a matching Dummy Siren Box, normally fitted to the rear of the property !!

Siren Battery Level Test:

• Press Alert Symbol on the Remote Control.
• The Siren will Beep once.
• An LED Light will then illuminate (if it is flashing the batteries are getting low, if it is steady the battery is good.
