The Protect 800 driveway battery-powered weatherproof PIR alarm alert system is a versatile and easy-to-install security solution for monitoring areas like driveways, gardens, sheds, and fuel tanks. How it works

The Protect Wireless Garden & Driveway Alarm uses a battery-powered PIR motion sensor to detect movement outdoors. Once motion is detected, the sensor wirelessly alerts the 6-channel receiver and activates a Loud weatherproof Bell for the set duration. The bell, typically installed outdoors, comes with a 3-metre cable (extendable upon request), ensuring you’re promptly alerted to any activity. Ideal for enhancing garden and driveway security.

Wireless Receiver (6 Channel):

Meet our feature packed indoor Receiver from our Protect 800 range, that's designed to give you peace of mind. With a wireless range of up to 800 meters and support for up to 30 detectors, it’s ready to secure any space. Customize alerts with 6 adjustable channels, LED notifications, and your choice of 32 melodies. Worried about power outages? It comes with a battery backup, loss-of-power alerts, and even a low battery notification. Whether you prefer it wall mounted or desk mounted, this Receiver adapts to you.

Battery Back Up:

You can add 3 x LR14 (C Type) Batteries into the Receiver which will ensure full operation in the event of a Power Failure.

Output Relays & Voltage:

There is a set of N/O & N/C Momentary Output Relays together with a 12v DC Output for use connecting accessories to the Receiver when required.

Optional Remote

The optional remote control allows for convenient management of the indoor receiver, enabling users to arm, disarm, and stop alerts remotely. The remote operates independently of specific zones and can control groups of zones. For instance, Arm (1-3) button arms group 1 (zones 1-3), while Arm (4-6) button arms group 2 (zones 4-6). Similarly, Disarm (1-3) and disarm (4-6) disarm these groups. During an alert, Stop (1-3) or Stop (4-6) can stop the audible alarm, strobe LEDs, and clear the zone LED with successive presses. This system enhances the flexibility and usability of the receiver.

Bell

The Loud (85 decibel) Wired Bell comes with 3 metres of bell cable (extendable upon request) for connection to the 12v output on the Indoor Receiver.

For added convenience, the cable includes a simple ON/OFF rocker switch, giving you full control over when the Outdoor Bell is active.

The bell's duration is fully adjustable, with options of 5, 10, 60 seconds or 10 minutes, allowing you to customise it to suit your specific needs.

You can assign the Bell to any of the 6 channels on the Indoor Receiver, offering the flexibility to integrate additional PIR sensors while limiting the Bell’s operation to selected sensors.

Some customers choose to install an additional Indoor Receiver in a location that simplifies cabling to the Outdoor Bell. Common locations include the loft, a spare room, garage, or barn. For added flexibility, this second Receiver can even be connected to a timer switch for scheduled operation.

This reliable system is designed to provide ease of use and customisation, making it an ideal solution for various settings.

The Pencil Beam focuses on creating a narrow field to avoid detecting small to medium ground animals, while the Medium Beam balances this by improving vehicle detection. If detecting vehicles is your top priority, simply remove the lens cap for maximum coverage. Thanks to its impressive 800-metre wireless range, you can discreetly install the PIR inside wooden or plastic structures with ease. Choose between 24-hour monitoring for round the clock security or night time only detection for quieter daytime operations and louder alerts after dark.
