Description

KP9 4G GSM Wireless Gate Alarm will contact key-holders by Telephone & Text Message at the same time as activating the built in Siren (can be turned off when a silent alarm is required) if the Gate is opened.

You could also program the control panel just to give you a Chime (doorbell) every time the Gate is opened, although it would not call out in this mode.

Up to 94 additional accessories can still be added to this Gate Alarm allowing you to get a better return on your investment by also using it as a:

  • Intruder Alarm.
  • Smoke Alarm.
  • Water Alarm.
  • Panic & Safety Alarm.

4G KP9 Gate Alarm

This Alarm operates on 2G, 3G & 4G Networks !!

With this standard kit, there is 1 x Magnetic Contact (which would normally be fitted to the gatepost), 1 x Magnet (which would normally be fitted to the gate), 1 x Battery Powered Wireless Transmitter (which is connected to the Magnetic Contact Switch) and a Control Panel inside the house.

The Control Panel is mains powered but also has a built in battery back up (for continued operation through a power cut), it has a built in Keypad and Internal Siren (which has an adjustable time duration).

The Control Panel will contact up to 9 key-holders by Telephone & Text Message together with activating the Built in Siren if the Gate is opened whilst the Panel is Armed.

You can add a Remote Control which can be used to Arm & Disarm the Alarm Panel from up to 50 metres away, you can also Arm & Disarm the Alarm by Text Message, Built in Timer or by using the APP.

The working distance between the Gate & Control Panel is 100 metres (line of sight) which equates to around 30 - 50 metres in most applications, you can add a Mains Powered Wireless Repeater which will double the operational distance if required.

The GSM Control Panel is packed full of features normally only associated with expensive professional Alarms, they include:

  • 95 x Wireless Zones (channels).
  • Contacts up to 9 x Key-holders by Telephone & Text Message (optional).
  • Built in Siren (adjustable duration from 0 to 999 seconds).
  • This Alarm operates on 2G, 3G & 4G Networks !!
  • Adjustable N/O or N/C Output Relay (1 - 999 seconds, can be used with Sirens).
  • Output Relay Rating: 240 v AC up to 3 amp.

SIM Card:

The Alarm Panel requires a SIM Card (standard size) which can make Phone Calls & send Text Messages (no data is required), you can select a SIM Card at the top of this page or supply your own.

Communication:

When the KP9 GSM Panel calls key-holders by Telephone, the key-holders have the option to:

  • Press * on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but remain fully armed.
  • Press # on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but will disarm the panel.

Wireless Gate Contact:

The Wireless Transmitter is supplied inside a weatherproof box and is connected to the Magnetic Contact by around 300 mm of steel protected cable, the Contact would be mounted on the Gate Post in such a position that when closed you can fit the magnet supplied so that both halves are nearly touching.

When the Gate is opened, a Wireless Signal would be transmitted once to the Control Panel inside the house, if the Gate is left open this will not flatten the Transmitters battery.

Sirens:

This Alarm Panel has a built in Siren which can be programmed to operate between 1 second to 16 minutes when activated, it can be turned off before this time by the owner using a Remote Control or build in Keypad

Installation method

  1. Fit the Magnetic Contact onto a Gate Post.
  2. Fit the Magnet onto the Gate (both the magnet and switch need to be nearly touching when the door is closed).
  3. Mount the weatherproof box which includes the Transmitter onto the Gate Post.
