The Bollard is supplied with a Steel Galvanised Ground Spigot with a Hinged Top Lid, this would be fitted flush to the ground, the Bollard would be locked into this using the Padlock supplied. When the Bollard is removed the hinged lid would totally cover the access hole making it safe for Vehicles & Pedestrians to pass over.  

These Removable Bollards are often used in conjunction with a row of the identical looking Static Solar Bollards (001-4061) 

The Height of the Wooden Bollard would typically be 800mm above ground when fitted into the ground, with an impressive square section of 120mm.

The Spigot is 305mm Deep.
