SOS & Panic Button:

The large Red SOS Button is fitted into a fully weatherproof enclosure (designed for very easy installation) and is powered by 8 x AA Batteries (supplied). The operational range between the SOS Button & HY Solar Siren is 300 metres (line of sight) which equates to around 150 - 250 metres in most outdoor applications.

Remote Controls:

The Remote Control supplied has a clear SOS Button option together with a sliding flap to save unwanted false alarms, ideal for staff to carry around or place on a forklift etc. These same Remote Control can be used to Disarm the Siren (before the pre-set time duration) after an activation.

How it Works:

The Weatherproof Outdoor Siren is powered by a built in battery, which is charged and maintained by the top mounted Solar Panel, the charging circuit is very effective and is designed for use in the dark and dreary days of the UK & EU, therefore ideal for being mounted in suitable External locations.

Being Solar Powered, it is very easy and quick to fit without having to worry about a power supply, we recommend it is fitted in a location that is open to Daylight.

The Siren has a loud 105 Decibel Siren and bright Flashing LED's (when triggered) and can be set to 30 seconds or 3 minutes (3 minutes is recommended in this application), if Help is required the Siren can be activated by simply pressing the SOS Button.

Once activated the Siren can be Disarmed before the set duration by using the Remote Control (supplied) or additional ones paired into the system.

Additional Panic Buttons:

It is possible to add additional Panic Buttons to this Yard Alarm, these may be useful located on a forklift etc, the options include:

Panic Button (100 metres wireless range) a simple single red button and wrist strap.
Remote Control (150 metres wireless range) which can trigger the Siren but can also turn the Siren OFF after an activation, ideal for supervisors or management.
SOS Buttons (005-6150).

Additional Uses:

You can add additional detectors (15) to this Siren to help you get a increased return on your investment, these include:

Universal Wireless Transmitters (005-6010), this allows you to connect other Alarm Panels to the Siren.
Wireless Smoke Detectors (005-6040).
Wireless Smoke & Heat Detectors (005-6050).

You can choose to pair the Detectors into a 24 hour channel (always working) or a channel that is only active when the Siren is Armed by the Remote Control.

The Siren has full tamper protection on the lid and base.
