XL Wireless Alarm System D

A unique XL Wireless Alarm System D, which includes a compact 4-channel Receiver (with built in 100 decibel siren), 1 x Wireless PIR & 2 x Wireless Magnetic Door & Window Contacts. This starter pack can be used on its own as a small Wireless Alarm System (helping to protect a small building, workshops or holiday homes), or as a base to build a bigger and more complex Intruder Alarm System (using the large selection of available accessories).

Battery powered internal Wireless PIR's (passive infra-red detectors) will detect a person from up to 13 metres away and transmit a wireless signal back to the XL Wireless Alarm Control Panel up to 80 metres away. The PIR's are supplied with a simple adjustable wall bracket and are best installed into a corner of a room, ideally visible from an outside window (acts as a visual deterrent).

Wireless Magnetic Contact's are used to protect vulnerable Doors & Windows, the battery powered sensors would be attached the the Door/Window & Frame (using double sided tape supplied). When the Door or Window is opened, a signal will be transmitted back the XL Alarm Receiver.   

Up to 16 Wireless Alarm Detectors can be used with an XL Wireless Alarm Receiver, they can be used to create both a full alarm condition or simple audible alert (depending on the chosen mode of operation).

The compact 4-channel Receiver has a multitude of unique features (listed below) making it a very versatile Alarm System:

Listed below are just a few typical examples of how this XL Wireless Alarm System may be used, there are many other variations that can be chosen:

• Receiver Located Inside House, Wireless PIR located outside on the Drive or Car Parking Area (set to alert channel 4), Wireless Magnetic Contacts fitted onto the Front & Back Door (set to alarm & chime zone 1), when the PIR detects someone outside the Receiver will beep, if either of the doors are opened the Receiver will either chime or go into full alarm mode (depending on what mode of operation the Receiver has been put into).
• Receiver, PIR & Magnetic Contact's fitted into the house, if the Alarm is Home Armed, the Magnetic Contacts will be  'ON' protecting the doors or windows, but the PIR will be 'OFF' (allowing you to walk around the house. When the Alarm is Away Armed, both the Magnetic Contact & PIR will be 'ON'.
• Receiver Located Inside the House, Wireless PIR & 1 x Magnetic Contact fitted into a external building (shed or garage), up to 60 metres away, and the other Magnetic Contact fitted onto a door of the house. The Receiver can be set to either Chime or Full Alarm modes for different times of the day, protecting both the shed or garage & house door.
