KPB Wireless Walkaround Lockdown Panic Alarm with 6 x Siren & Flashing Strobe Boxes.

This bespoke KPB Wireless Walkaround Lockdown Panic Alarm is supplied with 6 x Siren & Flashing Strobe Boxes, 3 x Panic Buttons & 3 x Reset Buttons (more can be added upon request).

This unique Lockdown Alarm is designed for applications where:

• Responsible persons want to walk around the site and trigger the Sirens one by one when deemed safe to do so (for example ensuring small children are safe before potentially being startled).
• Applications where it is not certain that a Wireless signal will be sufficient to cover all areas from one location.

How it Works:

When one of the Wireless SOS Buttons is pressed, the Sirens & Strobes (within wireless range) will activate and remain latched ON until such time that the Sirens are reset by a responsible person using one of the Wireless Reset Buttons (which would be stored in a safe location).

The Siren Boxes are powered by a simple 3-pin Plug and have adjustable tones (option of 32) and volume control (up to 106 Decibels) which are selected during the simple DIY Installation.

Addition Siren & Flashing Strobe Satellite Units can be added (009-2875), there is no limit together with additional Panic Buttons & Reset Buttons as required.

Panic Button:

The small Wireless Panic Buttons are powered by a small battery and have a Wireless operational range to each Siren Box of 100 metres (line of sight) which equates to around 40 - 50 metres in most buildings.

They can be mounted under (or on top) of a counter or desk or wall mounted, but in this unique application they would normally be kept safe and portable, they have a clear simple to press Red Button, additional units can be purchased. 

You could add a signal repeater to help push the wireless signal through walls and obstructions if you have one or two locations in mind for a Siren Box that may be a problem, our reference 005-0760.

Reset Button:

The Wireless Reset Buttons have a sliding protective cover (to prevent false operation) and can be used to either turn the Alarm OFF after an activation but could also be used to trigger the Alarm if required.

It is recommended that these reset buttons are stored in a safe locations or carried by authorised members of staff.

The operational range is 60 metres (line of sight) which equates to around 20 - 30 metres in most buildings.

Addition units can be purchased, the system can be used with up to 20 Wireless Panic & Reset Buttons. 

Siren:

The Sirens can be adjusted in Tone & Volume to suit your specific environment, by simply moving a row of dip-switches around, they have 32 different Tones to choose from, and volume control from low to 106 Decibels.

DIY Installation:

Installation is very simple:

1. Fit the Siren Boxes to the wall using 4 side mounted screw holes (they are weatherproof should they need to be mounted outside).
2. Power each Siren assembly up by plugging in a standard 3-pin Transformer (we recommend the socket is placed out of reach or sight).
3. Test a SOS Button by pressing the Red Button.
4. Reset by using a Wireless Reset Buttons.
5. Repeat the operation testing all SOS Buttons & Reset Buttons (they would normally be factory paired if purchased as one complete kit).
6. Adjust the Siren tones and volume as required.

You can add additional SOS Panic Buttons to each Siren (maximum of 20) including different styles which may suit your application, please see below:

• Panic Button, reference 005-0700 (from up to 100 metres away).
• Long Range, reference 005-1460 (from up to 1000 metres away).
• Wristwatch, reference 005-1480 (from up to 50 metres away).

These are very affordable Lockdown Alarms which are very easy to Install and ideal for certain applications, we can supply them with fewer or more Sirens & accessories to suit individual applications.
