Wired Fire Door Positioning Alert/Alarm

Wired Fire Door Positioning Alert/Alarm, shows a Green LED on the Control Panel whilst the Door is closed, if the Door is opened the Control Panel emits a constant 40 decibel buzzer at the same time as illuminating a RED LED (which will remain ON until the Door is closed).

When the Door is closed, the RED LED will switch OFF, and the Green LED will illuminate.

The system includes a Wired Door Contact, which needs to be fitted onto the relevant Door (cable is not included as the length will vary for every single installation, but simple 2-core is all that is required).

Installation:

1. Fit the Magnetic Contact & Magnet to the Door & Door Frame (positioned so that when the door is closed both parts are nearly touching).
2. Connect the Magnetic Contact to the Control Panel using standard 2-core Cable.
3. Mount the Control Panel.
4. Connect the Plug in Power supply into a socket.

Operation:

If the Door is opened, the Green LED will be replaced by the RED LED and a latched Buzzer will activate, if you need to turn the system off you simply switch off the power supply to the control panel (which would be located in a safe location), if you need the system to operate through a power cut then we can supply a suitable power supply (click here for more details).
